Mother's Day

Today is Mothers' Day

and I'm as happy as I can be

for you are my mommy

and you're taking good care of me

Though I'm not here to see you

I wanted you to know

I'm getting big and strong

just like a flower grows

So I asked Daddy

if your gift he would get

for as yet I'm not born

so in your belly, I must sit

I couldn't get you flowers

so the seeds he did buy

to plant and water everyday

and watch grow up to the sky

So until the day I'm born

and I can give you a hug

these seeds will become flowers

given to you, on Mothers' Day, with love
